Description
Progress Photograph Number 6, for the William Penn Hotel. The hotel was designed by Janssen and Abbot and the construction engineer was James L. Stuart. Three men are waiting near motorized trucks holding excavated earth. There is one man sitting in the truck cab. A billboard for the constructing engineer for the project, James L. Stuart, can be seen in the background. The address for Stuart's office is 609 Henry W. Oliver Building, at 6th and Smithfield. This image is taken from Grant Street.
