28: The First Two Disciples (?)
(John 1:35-42)
Heimann identifies these standing figures as Christ's first two apostles, Simon and Andrew. See John 1: 35-42. (Heimann, p. 84). The rightmost figure is headless, the other has a beard; they do not have halos. They appear to be looking at the figure of Christ in the previous scene. (27: Temptation of Christ).
