Description
Founded in Pittsburgh's Hill District in 1916 to provide Jewish education to immigrant children, the Hebrew Institute moved to Squirrel Hill in 1944. Day campers are on the lawn of the East Building at the corner of Forbes and Denniston Avenues in Squirrel Hill. On the far left in the third row is Dr. Pat Feldman of the School of Advanced Jewish Studies. Mrs. Donald Plung stands next to her.
