Description
The original West Liberty Elementary School was located on the corner of Pioneer Avenue and Stetson Street in West Liberty Borough, at the time an independent municipality that was part of Lower Saint Clair until 1876. The school remained at that location until 1898 when a new four-room structure was built on Pioneer Avenue near Capital Avenue. In 1939 a new building (pictured here) was constructed on Dunster and LaMoine Streets to replace the school that closed in 1938.
