Description
William A. (Gus) Greenlee and W. M. [Emmanuel] Jew" McPherson were listed in the 1948-1952 city directories as co-owners of the Crawford Grill at 1100 Pa. Avenue. Both were heavily involved in 'the numbers' and professional sports as well. They are dressed in suits, and one carries a leather case on a shoulder strap."
