Description
Group portrait of the 1904 Western University of Pennsylvania football team, the first undefeated football team in the school's history. In the back row (left to right) are: Cal Marshall, Joe Edgar, Arthur McKean, Arthur St. Ledger Mosse (Coach), Curt Leidenroth and W. W. Zeig. In the middle row (l to r) are: Walter East, Albert T. Schmidt, Joseph F. "Joe" Thompson, Omar Mehl and Theodore Perry. In the front row (l to r) are: Charles H. Boisseau, Frank C. Rugh and Walter Ritchie. Coach Mosse came from Kansas and is wearing one of their jerseys.
