According to Houvet, she is praying before opening her prayer book.2) opens a book.3) reads a book.4) holds a closed book on her lap and presses her palms together (in a gesture of prayer?)5) holds a closed book in one hand and gestures with the other (Houvet says “elle enseigne”)6) raises both hands (Houvet says she “enters a state of ecstasy”)Outer Archivolt (Bottom to top)STANDING WOMEN WITH HALOS, CROWNS AND UNBOUND HAIR. Each holds the top of a large triangular shield whose point rests on the ground.
