Historiated initial O: The Presentation of Christ in the Temple (Luke 2:21-23)
Mary and Simeon both hold the Christ Child at a draped altar. The Christ Child wears a cross-hatched diaphanous garment and has a cross-halo. Simeon wears a phrygian cap and is nimbed. Behind the Virgin Mary stand two women, one of whom holds the offering of birds.
